SHO-AIR/SERT Champion Jerseys
At this year's Winter Training Camp in Solvang, Joe LeMire
(left), Chris Thibodeau, and Jerome Heiberger rode in style,
displaying recent championship jerseys. Joe won his
division of the Northern California District Championship Men's
Road Race in 2011 while Chris won a National Championship
jersey in the Super D in 2010. Jerome sports the most
recent aquisition, a 2012 Sacramento Cyclocross Series winner's
jersey.
Jerome Heiberger Wins Sacramento Cyclocross Series and Cool MTB
SHO-AIR/SERT rider
Jerome Heiberger (right) has been on a tear the last several months, sewing up
the title in his division of the Sacramento Cyclocross Series in January, and then
winning the Cool MTB race on March 11th in the 45+ Expert MTB group.

2012 Winter Training Camp Highlights
Over 45 SHO-AIR/SERT members and
Sierra Express Bicycle Club riders attended this year's annual
1-week Winter Training Camp in Buellton, CA. Six
training rides covered over 350 miles and 24,000' of
climbing throughout the Solvang/Buellton area.
In addition to
some easy riding, the camp included a group dinner at the
Firestone Brewery in Buellton,
another huge dinner in Los Olivos, and a private wine tasting/tour
at the Sanford Winery.
The two videos at left highlight some of this year's awesome training
camp.
2012 Specialized Order
Kevin McMurtry is reviewing the order form and should have it ready for
SHO-AIR/SERT members to place their equipment orders by March 19th..
2012 Clothing Order
The 2012 clothing is scheduled to arrive at the end of March (not
February).
We hit a significant snag when Jakroo ran out of material for the
particular shade of blue in the jersey design. The team will hold
a group photo shoot when the new kits arrive.
Upcoming Races SHO-AIR/SERT just completed the Cool MTB Race (results are HERE).
The next major race for the team is the Copperopolis Road Race in
Milton, CA.
SHO-AIR/SERT Ride Data presented by STRAVA SHO-AIR/SERT members use the Strava Website to share ride data and
encourage each other to get those miles in and have a little fun with
it. A live feed of ride data is on the left below. The video at right, created by SERT
for our
YouTube Channel, provides insite into what goes on behind the scenes
as we compare ride data.

About SERT/Sho-Air
The Sierra Express Racing Team (SERT) presented by Sho-Air
is based in Nevada City, CA. The team was created in
1980 by Tour of Nevada City Bicycle Shop owners Ron Miller
and Jim Rogers. Local riders and sponsors resurrected
the race team in late 2004. Primary sponsor Sho-Air
joined SERT in 2009, providing much-needed support for race
entries in hundreds of mountain, road, and cyclocross events
throughout Northern California.
