SERT History

The Sierra Express Racing Team (SERT) is based out of Nevada City, CA. The team was originally created by the Tour of Nevada City Bicycle Shop founders, Ron Miller and Jim Rogers, a current member, in 1980. In November of 2004 the team was resurrected by local riders and the help of local sponsors. Sierra Express resumed its history of strong regional competition in 2005 and 2006, winning many local Mountain Bike and Cyclocross Races as well as reaching the podium in Road Races throughout Northern California.
